Taylor and Sons Ltd start work on the new berthing jetty in Newport Docks.
The project is designed to replace the old wooden jetty with a new steel pile and concrete deck jetty.
Taylor and Sons have been employed to carry out the in situ welding of pile collars and shear rings to the new 1000mm diameter piles.
Work will be carried out from Taylor and Sons bespoke access baskets.
