Taylor & Sons were awarded the contract to design, manufacture, supply and install a replacement set of radial gates and a new stop log by Exxon Mobil at their Fawley, Southampton plant.
The design was carried out by KGAL (Kenneth Grubb Associated Ltd) of Bournemouth.
The new operating gear comprised of two winch drums controlled by a single actuator and gearbox.
The three radial gates were replaced with two new and one fixed at the clients request.
