Taylor and Sons Ltd. completed the supply and installation of the Flood Gate in August 2004.
The project will allow the present, Air Rescue Helicopter Pad to be protected from flood at extreme high tide.
The structure was designed by KGA Ltd. of Bournemouth.
Taylor and Sons Ltd carried out the complete supply, manufacture, painting and installation.
All instrumentation, electrics, hydraulics and control software was included in Taylor and Sons Ltd Main Contract Scope.
The gates are due to be finally commissioned and handed over in April 2005.
