Taylor & Sons were awarded a contract by Premier Marinas to re-design and improve their existing secot gates at Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth in order to keep them in top operation condition for at least another twenty years.
Marina Manager Dan Hughes sahed he 'recognised that substantial work was required on the gates to maintain them in good working order and approached Taylor & Sons and KGAL (Kenneth Grubb Associates Ltd) because of their expertise and knowledge of sector g
The work comprised of the design, manufacture and installation of four upper pivot brackets and four cylinder to gate connections.
The installation took place in January 2006 with a working program of two weeks on site.
