The works at Flatford were carried out during 2006 with Dedham being carried out in 2007.
The refurbishment included the removal of the existing gate back to Taylor & Sons workshop in Cardiff to be inspected , modified, shot blasted and re-painted prior to being re-installed.
The drive arrangement in place was upgraded and a new hydraulic control unit installed.
