Taylor and Sons Ltd completed the supply and installation of the Tidal Impoundment Gate in December 2002.
The project will allow the present tidal harbour to act as a Marina by impounding the sea at low tide via an Automatic flap gate.
The structure was Designed by KGA Ltd. of Bournemouth.
Taylor and Sons Ltd carried out the complete design, supply, manufacture, painting and installation.
All instrumentation, electrics, hydraulics and control software was included in Taylor and Sons Ltd Main Contract Scope.
