Taylor
and Sons Limited is a long established Engineering Company,
whose origins commenced in 1875. Since that time there
has been a continuous father-son succession to the present
date. The present owners Mr Duncan Taylor and Mr Philip Davison-Sebry are full time active directors of the business together with Mr Steve Lloyd, Engineering Director forming the main board. The company has operated from its current site since the mid 1880's and undertaken a wide range of activities in that time. |

These include the manufacture of specialist
steel industry equipment such as pickling machines,
production of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous castings,
war munitions during both World wars, equipment
reconditioning, machining Titanium aero engine turbine
blades, general machining and other activities.
During the late 1980's the company took the view
that a broader range of activities should be sought
to strengthen the company customer base.
To this end the company has established satellite divisions based in Cardiff & Port Talbot with the objective of undertaking specialist manufacturing, machining and site installation work. Subsequently these divisions have developed specialist skills and have formed lasting relationships with their clients.
These divisions do not act alone and frequently share resources to provide customers with a vast portfolio of inhouse trades and services. |
